Embroidery is the process of sewing a digitised design onto garments.

At ShipShape we believe in providing the best solutions whether that is Screen Printing, Embroidery or Transfer Printing. Our embroidery department run the latest Amaya XTS machines giving a large amount of flexability. We also run Baraudan multi heads giving us the ability to embroider 64 garments at the same time.

Once we have your logo or design digitised in an embroidery software format, it can be loaded into our computerised embroidery machines for sewing.
Each product that comes off one of our machines is individually checked for compliance with our quality standards. Our goal is to ensure that your products are representative of our highest quality service every time.
Embroidery creates an impression of quality style. Excellent for polos, jackets, caps, knitwear etc. Embroidery will normally outlast any garment onto which it is applied.
- PROS - long lasting, looks expensive, full colour at no extra cost.
- CONS – can be more expensive than printing, especially for large designs & not always suitable for very light materials.
Embroidery Prices
When you place an order for embroidered clothing there are two charges:
Embroidery Setup (Digitising or Origination):
The first is an embroidery setup charge which covers the cost of having the design digitised and a jacquard created. This is a one off charge as once we have done this your design is stored and hence if you place an order in the future there will be no need to pay another setup charge. Most companies charge the setting up of your company logo per 1,000 stitches which can be a very expensive process. At ShipShape because we use in house designers we are able to offer a one off set up of £25.

Standard lead time is approx. 5 to 10 working days. Prices updated 10 Feb 2011. Prices in strikethrough were active between Jan 2007 to Feb 2011. High volume prices (500+) are sometimes negotiable. Prices correct at time of publishing.
